Honestly, i know everyone is talking about their "performance" and durability in stock form, but there isn't much wrong with the housing, its always the innards that ****. Im sure with built innards and a high hp car though you could change that quickly.
All ive really seen go wrong are bad posi's/ completely trashed Torsens,(my friend had to use a press to get his Torsen apart to check the carnage), sheared ring gears and a couple broken axles.

I cut 1.55s on mine behind a 4K stalled auto. My buddies '95 TA ripped the pinion clean out of the case. Did a lot of collateral damage.
