u joints

any tips on troubleshooting a u joint to see if its bad and do u need to get driveshaft balanced after replacing them?

Grab the driveshaft and rock it back and forth and see if you have play at the u joint. No need to rebalance the driveshaft if you do replace a u joint. Bob
