Default Rear End Gearing. NEED A CHANGE!

Currently my car is about 425 RWHP & 375-380 ft/lbs of torque & it is a 6 Speed. Planning to put the car on a 26 inch slick this coming season. My rear end gear is the only other thing hurting me in this equation though, at least this is what I believe. The rear end is a Strange S60 with a 3.54 or 3.55 (correct me if I am wrong). I believe this is way too small of a gear for the rear end with the 6 speed set up that I am running. Any opinions?

I run a 4.10 gear on a 6-speed with about the same power as you and love it!

Yea, you definitely need some 4.10s or the same series carrier will take 4.30s. Saw your tire thread, with the M6, bias plys for sure.

I was leaning towards the 4.10 rear end gear set up as I have a daily driver if this becomes not streetable. I don't drive it that far but I do enjoy taking it on cruises every so often & not just taking it to the track.

4.10s' with a 6 speed is a very popular combination for a daily driver.

That's true haha well 4.10 it is then! Reasonable price for labor to install the gear?

This should help you see the effects of gear and tire changes.
