Where does this clip go?

99 Camaro SS, 10 bolt, 3.42, M6, I think that's enough information.

Does anyone know where this clip goes?

That clip goes on the web between the diff housing and the axle tube, about 2" to the left in your pic.

Sharp man, he is correct. It clips on the kinda diagonal webbing runner of the rear end. You can see it in your pic going up at an angle.
