Anything's possible given time and money. I saw a thread on here with a junkyard 9" build, and I think he ended up at $1800

As far as measurements your stock 10-bolt gives you all that information already. As for brackets we have sold our bracket kit multiple times along with our MWC 9" style torque arm and crossmember.

If interested in more details give the shop a call.

Various thoughts--

Junk fbody rears can be had for $50. Just cut everything off.

You'll still need the TA bracket or make your own if you don't go with a 9" specific TA.
Compare Quick Performance with Midwest arm.

The pinion offset on the 9" is not the same as the 10 bolt.
They sell a special tool to take the center measurement on both rear ends so you can center the pinion.

Several places sell them. Look around on Mitler Brothers.
If you plan on narrowing it yourself. I think chassis works has the cheapest kit with the bar and adapters. Some guys buy just the adapters and buy the bar from the cheapest source to save even more.

Strange has the measurements in their catalog in a picture format.
I've never checked to see if they are correct or not.

Digital levels or angle finders are very nice for this....

Spend a little extra and put strange housing ends and axles/seals on it.

31 spline axles for mostly street and 33 for 50% or more strip use.

my grandfather made a chrysler 8 3/4 for my 85 trans am . It was made so it would bolt into an 82-92 fbody .

We made the chrysler housing bare and took all the mounting parts off a spare rear end . He did lots of measuring and cutting . The tq arm bracket was probably the hardset piece ,Let me see if i can find pics.

8.75 has the snubber mount to help with bolt on.

This takes a little welding.
8.8 Swaphttps://ls1tech.com/forums/gears-axl...-now-pics.html

Hawks Thirdgen sells a bare converted 8.8 housing ready to go with fab'd brackets.
