Default quick performance 9in help

Just put together my 9in using factory 10 bolt backing plates that I cut and the diff is very hard to turn over. Its almost as if the bearings are pressed on alittle to much. Anybody ever had this happen?

Moser axles with the sealed bearings. They came from moser pressed on and ready to go. Your supposed to shim the axles?

Mine is pretty snug, same rear your using. Bitch getting the axles in also. Had to motivate them with a dead blow.

Mine went in fine except 1/8 or so and then once I bolted the backing plates on they went all the way in. I just wonder if the quick 9 housing is a little to short.

When I put mine in the axle shafts where 1/8 too long.

They sent them for a spool and I was using a posi unit, I had to grind a 1/8 off the end.

It was mostly the pass side, it bottomed out on the posi.

It was my personal experience to be common for the Moser axles to be a bit too long. Everyone should check the length with a tape measure from the inner most end of the spline in the diff to the inside bearing surface in the housing end.
