Diff Gear Help
This is for a C5 Corvette Gertrag Diff.
Anyone able to help decipher these numbers on my Motive pinion gear? The only numbers on the ring gear is "68B"
The only truly readable number on the pinion is "68B".
any idea what that other mess is? This is the first time I have done gears where the A1 and A2 values weren't overly obvious.
"68B" could be the A2 value of 68mm, but that would be a big difference from 65.5mm
The other mess could be 4.0554 with the first "4" upside down which would be really ******* odd. Plus to have both metric and standard specs would be odd as well.
Any ideas?

68B would be/should be the ring & pinion set number. Once the 'set' is made/manufactured,68B pinion will always be with 68B ring.
Rotate the pinion 180 degrees so that the 68B is right side up and possibly the upside down 4 becomes an h for your height of the pinion from ? some place ?. .0554" ?
not familiar with that rearend to decipher it.
I would contact Motive !
