Default 10 bolt 3.23s 28s

Anyone run a 28in tall tire with 3.23s and a 10 bolt? How did the setup work? bought some racestars over the winter they were wrapped in MT ET Streets 325/50R15s the plan was to put a 275/50R15s on it. tired of seeing the car seat ready to get it out. I'm pretty sure with a tire that big and a gear that long its going to kill the 60ft. this is the setup

98 Camaro
Built 4l60E FTI 4000k Stall
ls6 intake
615/598 232/240 114+2 lsa
Full Boltons
Dynotune Plate kit Jetted for 150hp
Spohn Torque Arm
Spohn Panhard Bar
Spohn LCA
12 way Qa1 rear shocks

That 150 shot should help that 60ft just a little

I think it will be just fine. No worse than 26" tire with a 4l80 and 3.23's like I have. If anything the taller tire will help absorb the shock of that 150 hit.

I'm more afraid the shock to the tires wont be enough to move the tires on a sticky in turn putting more load on the trans.

The 150 shot is probably adding 200ft/lbs of torque. If that dosent get the tires going IDK what will.

60' should be no problem as you have a pretty good stall. But your probably only going to be going threw the traps at around 5300-5700 rpm's.
That's well below your powerband, so your going to lose a couple mph.

I run 26" tire with 3.73's. With that gear, you would be better with 26" tire.

nitrous doesn't need a lot of rpm to do its work , kinda like a sc in a bottle , I think it will work out well for you - try it...
