Currently have Moser 12 bolt with 4.11s. New combo is 408 with a Borg Warner S476. I know the 4.11s are too much gear for it so would 3.42s be the way to go? What all do I need to do the swap? Thanks!

The 3.08s would probably be more than You need, since there is not a 3.25 the 3.42 will probably be Your best option. I suggest staying away from the Motive brand. You will need a master installation kit when ordering the gearset.

It does help, thank you. Would I better with 3.08s over 3.42s? Also I bought this car with the 12 Bolt already in and I am not sure if it is a 3 or 4 series carrier. Is there anyway to find out? Thanks again!

4.11s are available for 3 or 4-series carriers. I dont know if there is a way to tell without opening it up. It only takes a few minutes so that would be the thing to do.
