Default Replacing both axle bearings and seals

My 1997 z28 needs axle bearings and seals replaced on each side. Should I go with timken as I heard they have the best quality? Or just use any brand autozone has? Also, this is my first time replacing axle bearings, so are there any tips/cautions to be aware of?

Its nice to have a seal puller, they have them at the auto parts stores. And youll need an axle bearing puller and slide hammer. Sometimes the bearings can be stubborn and take some real good whacks other times they pop out pretty easy.

Get the best bearings you can man. 01ssreda4 is on point. When putting them back on make sure it's flush going in so it's not offset

Okay I'll try and get the best quality at autozone or find timken set online. I have heard that you need to make sure you line up the teeth on the axle properly when you put it back in and make sure to not rotate the diff after the axle is out? What is the reason for this?

Nope none of that. There is nothing to worry about, just pull the axles and replace them when you're done. How they go in doesnt matter.
