I was putting the tire back on my 96 trans am with the ole tourqe wrench and bam. Broke a wheel stud. Is this a diffucult fix? And can i risk driving the car like that?

You should be able to punch it out with a hammer or press it out with a c clamp out the back of the spindle. Then run to auto parts store and they will have new wheel studs. Push them in the the back and pull into the spindle with the lug nut.
Yes you can drive it with only four lugs

You dont have to pull the axles to replace. should be a hole on the back side of the backing plate, if you have an automatic take out the TCS

buy the stud first.
Then you wont need two vehicles while you are working.
