Default Finally got a 9"

After looking at lots of options I settled on this rear end. New center can, internal gussets, back braced(option), sway bar mounts included, adjustable lower control arm brackets included, fill and drain plugs included, 35 spline strange axles(I had drilled for both 5/8 studs and .509 knurl for stock, this was a little extra). Torque arm bracket included. Third member studs were included and installed, however the fabricator was straight up and told me they were dorman, so I did upgrade those to ARP myself.

A few highlights:

All holes were drilled the correct size.

I did weld on hard line brake brackets and welded a nut on to mount the brake line bracket.

The torque arm fits on the bracket on the close holes with no trimming of the bracket.

I did have to beat the tunnel in a little. Not much as I already had hit beat in pretty good from being so low on the stock rear.

I put it in the car before painting to check fitment. My panhard bar needed no adjustment, the rear was dead nuts compared to stock. No contact to the gas tank anywhere. I put the rear in with no springs and was able to send it to the bump stops after the minor beating on the tunnel. The rear does contact the exhaust just before hitting the bump stops, But I don't see it being a problem for others as my car is very low.

My BMR x-treme anti-roll bar fit perfect as well. Placed the bushings as far out as possible. This will take out any side to side movement. That was a problem on my stock 10 bolt. There is no interference at all.

what paint did you use?
looks like it wore where the axle rested on jack stands... just like mine did prior/during install. i used por-15.

assuming you are using a new/larger driveshaft, i would check and make sure with rear springs out and body resting on axle via bump stops, that your drive shaft tube is not contacting the bracket on the tunnel where the ebrake cable is held.

I have no contact anywhere. 3" steel driveshaft 1350 ujoints. I set the rear up for fitment with no springs in the car. My car slammed as well.

Also just rustoleum spray bomb. Marks are from jack stands.
