Default 10 bolt slack

im experiencing a bucking issue on decel and when dropping below 1500 rpms in higher gear, so i crawled under car and noticed slack in the rear diff, is this enough slack to cause this issue or is this normal?

rear diff was rebuilt about 20k miles ago with auburn carrier and 3.73 gears.

Gears making any noise? Might want to pull it apart and check the backlash.

the only noise it has is around 65-70mph on accel it whines a litte, but it has done that since i had it rebuilt, ive never been into a diff before so im not sure how to check it so i may have to take it to a shop. do they normally have slack in them like this one?

Slack is normal, but I can't say if the amount of slack you have is normal.
Slack exists between ring & pinion(lash),between the Auburns' spiders, and the splines of the axles into the carrier. Those 3 places of slack can be accumulative and seem like excessive slack.
