C5 Z06 gear swap - What's involved

I've searched around and came up short. Anyone know of some DIY write ups?

You'll need some specialized tools to do the job. The most important I feel will be the one to remove the nut from the pinion bearing. The next will be the bearing splitter to remove the bearing.

Thought I read the tools needed cost around $600? Not sure I wanna spend that for a one time deal.
