Are C5 axles from an auto different than from a manual? I'm doing an auto to manual swap - and poking around I've seen more than one person pick up "manual" axles.
I'm leaning towards misinformation on their end. Can't think of how the two can be different unless the diff is different, which I also doubt. But, I don't want to be caught with my pants down.
Can anyone confirm?

It is not like the C4 where it could be a Dana 36 or Dana 44 depending on your transmission.
You have different gear ratio choices based on the transmissions and a plate you may have to swap over.
ZO6 has shot peened gears and a few other minor improvements from what I can see.
