1/4 mile rpm/mph with A4 and 4.10s?
Was wondering what you guys with A4 and 4.10s were turning in the quarter and what speed. 28 or 26 tire?
My car has a fti 4000 stall and Performabuilt level 2 4l60e. I'm not concerned with mpg or streetability. Only what it does in the quarter.
Not planning on nos. N/A only. Thanks!

My car with 26s and a 3.73 trapping 120 hits the stripe at 6500rpm or so. 28s dropped that down to maybe 6k so Im swapping a 4.10 to bring the rpm back up.

[QUOTE=jhshnh;19147104] My goal is to run 10s on motor. Not going to spray. After the rear and coilovers I'll go with wheels, brakes, and then start on the engine. I'll probably put a cam and intake on while I decide what direction I'm going with the engine.

My car had 456 gears fti4k hard hit stall. Built motor. On 26 inch tires. Went 11.5x@ 117 mph on a 1.7x 60. Crossed the traps in 4th gear around 63-64k
Now running a 342 rear but haven't made it back to the track yet

Right now it's 331 rwhp, but as soon as I get the rear end I'm doing h/c/i. Possibly rebuild the engine with forged pistons and rods. So I'm need to plan ahead vs where I'm at now.

Last year I was going the traps at around 7-7100 @ 124. That's 4l60e with 26" and 410's. This year I'm gonna spray so I'm going to a 28" tire. Gonna probably need to back the gear down to a 373 also to not bounce off the limiter. Don't think 2" taller tire alone is gonna get me 10-15 mph...
