10 bolt lt1 fit 2000 trans am
Got a 10 bolt from a old lt1 car im pretty sure it will bolt right in but what to do with the sensors. Looks like it has a different plug and none on the axles. Can i just leave them off? or wire them in? i have the old abs sensors just put them on this one?
Thanks for any help.

The easiest thing to do is to leave the wiring off. Your ABS light on the dash will be on and your anti lock brakes won't work. You'll have old school brakes which I've always preferred. Bob

What was broke ? But anyway, removing both sets of axles and backing plates and interchanging the sets will allow you to keep ABS & TC,that's what is done for LS1 98-02 rears, don't know about doing that with a LT1 rear. You might have to interchange backing plates because of the e-brake(heard they're a different actuating mechanism).

just whined and clunked so i took it out and was going to do a 8.8 rear but have since decided to sell the car so i sold the 8.8 and putting it back to stock.
Just for future reference the lt1 rear is defintley not a direct swap. brake lines are different, back plates are different, tc is different not worth the hassle.
My stock backing plates would not work, bolt holes didn't even line up.

Oh how very wrong you are. Any time I've axle swapped one of these cars (probably like 15 times by now) we leave the stock backing plates "on the car", if you would've done what the fella above mentioned (used your original backing plates with your original axles) you would have working TCS and be on your way issue free.

Hell, if you're in a bind and the ABS setup is the same, the only loss of functionality from putting a 93-97 rear into a 98-02 car (or vice-verse) is the E-brake, which would require different cables.
