Moser 12 Bolt, Eaton Posi gear oil? axle seal let go and is peeing diff fluid all over my driver side rear rotor and pads. does anyone know what diff fluid this thing should take and how much? is an additive required?

I have lost several axle seals in my moser over the last 5 years, but I have the ford ends and the seal is recessed inside the tube. Instructions call for 80w-90 non synthetic gear oil. Additive would likely depend on the posi type. I'd say if you have a clutch type posi, additive would be needed.

For an Eaton posi I'd get three quarts of Napa non synthetic 80/90 weight and you'll need some posi additive too. Bob
