I have a 12 bolt moser in my 99 camaro with 33 spline axels. I have a strange noise coming from the rearend when driving straight at low speeds and when turning. Was wondering if anyone might know what it could be and what parts I would need.

Could possibly be wheel bearings or tolerances out of whack.

Could be a lot of different things. Check the easy stuff first, hopefully it's nothing internal. Be sure to take a look at the brakes especially if you have disk. Depending on what type of brakes you have you may need to shim the caliper to get it centered on the rotor. If it isn't centered one pad may be rubbing and squeaking, fought that issue with some Willwood disk brakes with a Strange 12 bolt on my car.

With a Moser 12 bolt the first thing I'd look at is to see if the torque arm bolts back at the rear are tight. Bob

I also wanting to go with higher gears from 4.10s to 3.42s.
So I can actually use first 😂
What's the better gear to go with and what all do I need.

Just curious, what's your reason for wanting to go to a 3.42 over the 4.10? Did you change something in your setup?

Went from stock motor to a pro charger and good internals.
Just figured that I should raise the gear ratio so I didn't spend all my time spinning a lot

I have a Procharger and am running a 4.11 gear in a Moser 9". You don't stay in 1st or 2nd very long LOL.

I bought the procgarger kit from my brother and he bought it from y'all.
And then I had to by all the pieces that he used on his next set up.
