It's the same rear, other than gear ratio. It's just that the A4 is generally much easier on the rear (unless you get massive wheel hop) than the M6.

Depends on what tires you go with. Regular ole street tires, it should be fine (there are exceptions). DR's or Slicks, you're on borrowed time.
I've managed to get 228k on my 10-bolt and it's an M6 car. It's only saving grace has been the tires. They slip before the rear is really being stressed.
