The True-Trac needs GOOD synthetic lube. its same tech as a Torsen for a bit less money, and it is a bit stronger than the Torsen diffs, just not as good at balancing the power.

I've run them in jeeps and had decent results, One thing,,, when you un-pack it, TORQUE the bolts. I've put in 3 and 2 had loose bolts right out of the box.

Note, none of the torque sensing gear drive diffs like big torque, RPM's don't bother them.
A diff cooler is recommended if your putting big power through them and using them hard at all.

If you can tolerate the clunking a regular detroit locker works well in road racing, you do have to learn to lift off the gas slightly as you turn in to allow it to release through the turn, as soon as you gas it you get lockup like a spool.

Can you post a link for a 10 bolt spool? I know they make mini spools but everything Ive seen regards them as junk.

I have no actual experience. Lots of people say they can snap factory axles just turning in parking lots and doing normal driving stuff and with a c clip axle that means there wont be much holding your wheel in the wheelwell. Seems too iffy for me to ever suggest.
