ASR to non ASR 10 bolt swap?

ASR to non ASR 10 bolt swap? Well I blew my 3rd posi this week. My friend said he has a 10 bolt with eaton posi and girdle that he can just swap for mine. Only problem is it has traction control and my car doesnt. He said we could just put my axles in the other 10 bolt and it would be fine. Would that work? Or would I end up with no ABS?
