Default Looking for an 8.8'' rearend

I decided to put the Ford 8.8 in my 98 T/A. I have a guy that can do all the custom fab so that isn't a problem. I am wanting to keep my abs and disc brakes. What is the best donor car to pull one from?? Keep in mind money is an option but at the same time I want what will hold up best and fit the easiest!!

Mustangs are the easiest. The trucks use them to but have bigger axle tubes, won't mate up to the F-body parts. They are heavier castings though so theoretically it should be stronger but it's also harder to modify them to work with a torque arm. You should have no problems finding an 8.8 housing out of a Stang though, just look for the two mounts on top for the upper control arms.
