Default what gears do i have

[
iFONT=Arial]arial[/FONT]2000 camaro with 6 speed --17 inch wheels with 285-40-17 rubber, if 80 miles per hour is 2000 rev, and 90 is 2200 revs --can some one tell me if i have 3.42 or 3.73 gears in the rear end--thank you

unless you changed them you have 3.42's.

i have reason to believe that they may have been changed--if not i believe that i would like to change them to 3.73

Do a search bud and you'll be able to find the calculator site that will find all those numbers for you.

If you have 285s for your tire, you might not have an accurate reading on your speedo, as a 275 would have been stock. Best way to tell what gears you have is to get dirty and open your rearend up
