Moser axles are twisted!!!!!
Was taking apart my Moser 12 bolt to replace spider and side gears when I noticed that the splines on my axles were twisted about half way through the splines. Should this be happening with 33 spline axles? As well the wheel studs are all twisted. Again, anybody else had the splines twist on their Moser axles with low mileage????????????????????????

I am in the process of talking to Moser about the axles and hopefully they will replace them. Lets see: spider gears busted, side gears busted, axles twisted, wheel studs twisted..... what next?????

Moser is one of the best axle makers in the world...they will replace them...personally, i think you did something you not telling...i have a set of Mosers 35 spline gun-drilled axles that made over 1000 passes when my car weighed 33-3400lbs and made over 1300hp...no twist there

Bryan TTM. Like my mother told me "If you don't have anything good to say then don't say it at all". Like every product out there there will be some that are defective and so on. Look at the 10 bolt rear ends. Some guys get lucky and get loads of abuse out of them and some break them with stock HP #'s. I am trying to get satisfaction from a product that I paid Moser a lot of money for and that is the only reason I posted it up here on the board with fellow enthusiasts to see if I am the only one with this problem. Again, shut your mouth and leave my post alone if you have nothing useful to help me in my situation. Go get a life!!

I just snapped a Moser axle this weekend first pass on my new motor. My raceweight is 3750, soft launch 4K rpm (instead of my usual 6700) I've gotten over 300 passes out of them so it was no big loss to me. Just ordered a new pair of them. And no they don't replace them for free. Theres no warranty in racing.
Cheers.

Moser e-mailed me today and wants me to send them the axles for inspection. I have to pay the shipping to them and they havn't guarranteed me anything yet. This will be the last product I ever purchase from Moser engineering, this is to frustrating especially with the price that these units cost.
