Default 3.73's & SSF 3500 stall

My mods are in sig. I'm getting some gears tomorrow, probably 3.73's. I found the cam I wanted to get(TR 230/224 on a 111 lsa), and Thunder recommended to me that my SSF 3500 stall was a tad bit small, and said for me to get 3.73's. Now, if I go ahead and get this, what would a highway run be like? Like say, from 25-40mph start ending at 120-130?
I believe this setup would work, but I don't want an all-out track car, just something that is quite 'spirited'. Anyways, I have the shitty 2.73's, so any thing is a gain for me.
Also, I'm not getting anything tuned until I get the cam installed(which is going to immediately be next), cause down here in So. Fla, tune shops for our cars are in VERY short supply.

I'm currently running a ssf3500 with 3.73's and I love it. I had 2.73's stock and went to 3.73's first then put in the ssf3500. The gears made a HUGE difference for around town driving and they are great on the highway also. I will be interested in your impression since your doing the mods in the opposite order I did. I dont have any tuning done yet (just speedo and shift points by hpp).

Got the gears installed, not a huge difference from before, but quite noticeable, better overall response from the car. I got a little bit of gear whine, my speedos off about 20 to 40 mph, and rpms are a bit high when driving, but still quite streetable. The car really hits hard, tires now chirp out. Highway racing is pretty much out of the question though.

I run A ss3500 with 373s with a 230/236 .590 .578 114lsa cam. It is fine launches hard just need a good tuner for what ever converter you get.

Ya good times are all in the tune with these cars. Especially with all of the options that a tuner presents to you
