you'll need to stick it in place or measure your set up to dertermine if it's too short or too long. If it looks like it will work for you then you need to purchase a crossover u-joint to work with your stock ds and the 1350 yoke on the 12 bolt.

the stock DS will break with a few passes on some sticky tires. Save yourself the headache of making it work and buy a new CM/Mild steel one

These guys aren't kidding. I snapped mine in two pieces with the stock 10 bolt, BFG's and launching at 3K. The stock aluminum DS won't last you a night at the track with the abuse you'll be putting through with the 12 bolt.

Give Billingsley Racing a call, or visit the sight (to the right-->). They're custom length jobbers. There are many other companies that offer custom driveshafts as well. I net search should yield many.

Stock aluminum driveshaft in an A4 car shouldn't be an issue.

I ran my stock one till I got a deal on ACPT CF one. Still have the stock one as a backup. It's probably seen a couple hundred passes on sticky tires without issue.
