Default New Moser Axles, Please look at pics and tell me if

I just got some moser hardend axles for Christmas, I ordered the abs/ traction control upgrade, and im not sure if the axles I got came with it... i was thinking that the abs/tc was a gear ring looking compontent, and i don't see em on here. someone please clarify if the ones i recieved do have the abs/tc upgrade.

Thanks in advance.

Unless you buy the reluctor wheels the 'upgrade' is just machining the axles for them, they look like they are machined for the wheels.

Looks like your missing the exciter ring used for TCS/ABS to count the number of wheel/axle revolutions

Call Moser and ask them if the price you paid included the reluctors or not..... Maybe they made a mistake, or there was mis-communication between you and Moser....or maybe someone forgot to include them..... WJ

The rings from moser are 75.00, I'm pretty sure you just payed to machine the axle for them. My old 9" was the same way, I assumed the 100.00 for the 4 channel option included the rings but it didnt.

thank you guys very much for all your replies..

i called up speed inc where i ordered them and the upgrade is just to have the axles machined to fit the reluctor rings... they told me its no big deal to take off the rings on the stock axles and put them on the new axles, they said use a torche to heat them up and they will expand.

others i have talked to said its a pita, but i hope it works out ok...

KP, is it $75 for both of them or is it $75 a piece?

if they are stock 10 bolt axles then you re-use your existing ones. When i ordered the axles for my 10 bolt that is how they came. I pryed my old reluctors off and tapped thenm onto the nex axles. IIRC the 75.00 is their own machined reluctors for use on their 12 bolt and other housings they use

Heat them up in the oven a bit, put on the heat retardant gloves and slip them right on... WJ

HAVOC, have you had any other problems / issues? How'd the install go? I'm getting ready to do them also.
