ABS & TCS
On a 10 bolt rear for a 98+, where are the plug-ins located for ABS and TCS trying to tell if the rear I just bought has the correct connections before I get this project started.

The sensors are on the backing plates at the ends of the axles. If you didn't get the axles, or didn't get the backing plates, then you won't see the connections for the ABS/TCS..if you did..they'll be out on the axle ends.

Not necessarily...it depends. When I replaced my 10-bolt (I have ABS and TCS), I bought one that only had ABS so the sensor was on the pumpkin. I still have my ABS and TCS though. What I had to do was reuse my axles and backing plates in the "new" 10-bolt. I knew they weren't the part that was damaged in my old rear so I knew I was good to go. In the ABS/TCS setup..like I previously said, the sensors are clipped to the backing plates. They read the reluctor rings that are on the end of the axles. So even though the rear I was putting in was setup for only ABS, it can be made to work fairly easily for ABS/TCS. (Going the other way can be done..but takes a little more work.)
