Default 10 bolt on slicks?

Is there anyway to modify a factory 10 bolt to run slicks without breaking it?

slicks are drag radials are two different storys! you can still waste your 10 bolt with nittos, i know guys who've had it hold together, and others just rip it to hell. just depends how much of a shock you give it with your clutch. best to have a few extra $$ for a new 10 bolt though, or just get a 12bolt.

I actually ran 11.0-11.2(382 allbore) about 250 runs and 11.6-11.8(heads+cam) with over 500 runs on the same 10 bolt, with a TA cover and 3.42 gears. I allways load the car up on the converter, seems to be more consistant ET and is much easier on the rearend than just hitting it off idle. With a 6 speed you are putting much more stress on the rear, a 10 bolt will deffinately break if you run 1.50-1.60 60'. Everyone I know with an M6 that dragraces alot and launches hard has broken a 10 bolt.

My friend's 10-bolt blew after about 20 5k clutch dumps. Nearly stock LT1 M6 with 315 Nittos.
