Default What brand gear oil?

I am putting richmond 3.73 gears in my 10bolt, and I am going with a 85W140 Synthetic, but can't decide on which brand. Anyone recommend any certain brand, and why?

Use "Lucas" gear oil. The oil has a climbing feature so it will run upwards as the gear is rotating! Pretty cool. You don't even need limited slip additive when you use that oil. That what I have currently.

I think this debate could rank up there with the "which cam is best" threads..Unless your car see's extreme conditions like drag strip abuse or road racing you'll never exceed the capabilites of an off the shelf gear oil.. a good oil dosent start to work well untill it reaches the 260+ range.I have spent the last few months testing and review tests on several types of gear oils... some commerically avalible and some not...and all the tests say the same thing... Mobil75/90 is the best all around gear oil you can buy in terms of wear and effecenty(sp)

I use Royal Purple, quieted my gears down and is high quality. For the extra few bucks it is worth it.
