Default Very happy with my new Moser 12Bolt

The quality of the rear is excellent and the time frame from the time I ordered it was 8 days. I bought it from Speed Inc. where I get most of my parts and they had the best price thanks Mike. The install was straight forward with no problems at all. The only thing the rear did not come with is the T-bolt nuts? This was not a big deal because we had plenty of them at the shop. We put the rear together on the bench before it went in the car. I have no leaks and no gear whine from my 342 gears. We checked the shim setup to make sure I would have no problems. I was very nervous when I started reading all the threads about the Moser problems but I took a chance and I am glad I did. I now have the worry of breaking my rear out of my mind being that I have an automatic. When I took my 10 bolt apart I noticed that my thick 273 gear had 3 teeth rolled over real bad and lots of slop in the rear so it was on it's way out. I am glad I changed this out when I did or I would have been having serious problems. I need to figure out what TQ arm to go with that is the only suspension piece that I have not changed. I am looking at the Yank tranny cross member mount and the Spohn TQ arm? Well here are a few pictures for you guys to see my pretty rear. Lou

I haven't had any issues with mine and it's been on over a year now. Even my 4.10's are quiet compared to others, but I am sure that will change once a very sticky tire goes on and a few hard launches.

Nice... I love my 12 bolt as well. It's a little leaky, but it's also a few years old (I'm the second owner of it)...

I have that same rear sway bar and relocation kit too...

Damn, I wish my under carriage was half that clean. Thanks to my leaky 10 bolt I have some muck slung up under there. The rear looks great as does the rest of your car.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The car is more of a garage queen. I drive my LT1 as a daily driver and use this as my weekend car or when the weather is nice. I do clean the bottom of the car when it's on the lift but most of the time it is clean. The car does not go out in the rain it has only seen rain a few times back in 2002 when I first bought the car. The TQ arm is still the orignal paint but that will be leaving the car soon when the new pretty red one goes on.

Congrats, I've had my Moser for over a year, and no problems either. Nice looking setup you have. I have the spohn swaybar relocation brackets, but what sway bar are you using?
