Lakewood Driveshaft Loop Install ??
I just put one on and it seems as if it always touched the side of the tunnel on the passenger side and the header it also appears to touch the torque arm on the other side.
It makes a nice vibration right now and it also looked like the loop itself was really close to the balancing weight on the DS.
Am I doing something wrong? I thought these were just bolt-on and go?
Anyone got any ideas?
TIA,
- john

after doing a bunch of searches I see that other people had a hard time getting the top half of the loop installed over the drive shaft. I had the same issue but found that if I installed it closer to the rearend that it fit right over with no issues at all and then just slid it up to install it on the lower loop-brace.
I still have rubbing on my FLP Y-Pipe and my torque arm (with poly bushings if it matters).
It seems like there is adjustablity but it didn't seem like I could use much of it
any ideas

Mine fit good except that it hit the side of the tunnel also. I just put in a piece of rubber hose between the tubnnel and the loop to stop the vibration. No clearance problems here with the DS or the torque arm (stock tq arm).
