Which rearend for this application?
I was researching rearends and I know there are people that say "Fast, Reliable, Cheap. Pick 2" but im trying to find the cheapest route on building a stout rearend. I dont plan on ever leaving the line at 4000rpm on full slicks. This is going to be for a turboed daily driver with nittos and 3.42s.
I was looking at 12bolts and they arent cheap at all. I used to build mustangs so I know about the power loss from a 9" rear. But what about an 8.8? How hard is it to make one of those fit in a 4th gen F-body?
