Are aam gears any good?

Are aam gears any good? I bought a set of 3.73 gears for my 99 ss. When I ordered them I told Jon at tsp that I could get the motive gears from New Era for $$$ I asked him if he could match it and he said yes. But I didnt know I was going to get a different brand. So my question is should I go ahead and install these or should I wait and get the motives?
