The only thing you will have to worry about is whether the rear has traction control or not and whether your car does (or not).

Non TC cars are 3 channel. TC cars are 4 channel. 3 channel cars (non TC) have a single ABS sensor on top of the differential and a reluctor wheel that goes around the ring gear ***'y.

TC cars have two ABS sensors, one at each axle.

LS1 rears will have 12" rear disc rotors, where the LT1 syle are 11.8" (IIRC).
the two have different rear disc calipers and ebrake systems, but the two ebrake systems will work in either type of car.

Hope this helps.

Brake lines will work, but you must get the same type of rear (3 channel or 4 channel) if you want your ABS to work, or else change over some other (more expensive) components. I wanted to get a 9", but since they dont come in 3 channel, I deciced on a 12 bolt.

I put a non-TCS LS1 rear in my non-TCS 95. I did not swap the brakes, as I did not get the LS1 backing plates, rotors, or calipers with the "new" rear. The only real issue I had was that the distance from my transplanted LT1 backing plates to the LS1 axle wheel mount was different by about 1/8" from the stock LT1 rear. This caused the rotor to rub against the caliper, so I ended up with a small spacer.

so im probably going to put the rear end in anyway, ill just lose abs and tcs right? Are there any problems with this for a daily driver? Will it throw codes? Any thing i should expect. Will no abs be a bad thing?

Not if you've driven without it. If you've gotten used to the ABS, then your stopping distance will grow and you will have to pump brakes in an emergency situation. Keep us updated.
