Am I hurting my rear?(no jokes lol)
My tuning guy reprogrammed the trans when he did my engine stuff. He bumped up the line pressure and got the trans shifting really good.
At WOT it barks 2nd hard...is this bad for the rear? I know how fragile these POS 10 bolts are and I don't want to go shattering anything? Only street tires on the car so far...MAYBE a run or two with some Nittos in the future but that's about it.
Thanks guys

I don't think spinning really hurts the rear, not as much impact as a straight hook ya know?

You should be fine, the differences is there is less driveline shock then a manual.
My car leaves about 10 feet of rubber and gets sideways on the 1 - 2 shift, barking is what the 2 - 3 shift is for.

Its not that autos dont shift hard, but they are always the point that has some "give" to it.
What breaks rears is "shocking" them, like a 5k clutch drop, power goes straight to the rear and the initial jolt of the slack comming out of the driveline is what kills 10 bolts.

initial shock is a good one, however...most 10 bolts i've seen didn't really "break" persay, they split or...sheered. as opposed to totally destroying one, the bearings walk under a tq load, such as a hard hook about halfway through first. either way, they suck. the differential itself doesn't break, but the r&p separate THEN **** hits the fan. if you beef up this problem, like with a girdle, then you get into broken yokes, etc. however, breaking opens new doors to replace with something 10x better.
