i picked up a camaro rear end the car had a v6 with A4. Does anyone know what gear are in there. I think they are 3.23 but not sure. Me and my friend parted out the car and he gave me the rear end for helping him. The car has cloth interior, t-tops and no powered windows. I was thinking of putting those gears in my T/A's rear and replace the 2.73's. or should i just get 3.42's instead.

I would go with 3.42, for the amount of work its not worth it for the 3.23's

get the RPO code for the gear ratios from the car. because 3.42 gears were optional with the v6 auto.

3.42 will be GU6.
You have GU2 now. Also, G80 is limited slip diff. I would go with 3.42's.

the code is in the inside of the drivers door
