Default 4.10s/3.73

hey everyone,

just lookin for opinions...

I'm soon buying a T/A and I have definitely got the "modification-itis disease" - I want super super quick low end speed, I wanna thrash everyone on the street in like 1/8th mile runs... would a 4.10 in a LS1 T/A with good exhaust do that for me!?

a4 or m6?

people say 3.73s for a4, 4.10's for m6. I have 4.10's in my m6, I love them.

Ya, what he said. 4.11's and I wish they were 4.33's now. Go for it.

Yeah, 4.11's are what you are looking for....... assuming you are going to get a 6 speed.

3.73's and a big stall in an A4, will pretty much thrash anything in the 1/8. Everything else equal.

I have 4.11s & a smaller stall in my A4 car. Maybe not quite as quick as the bigger stall, but more streetable in my opinion. I just don't like revving my LOUD car up next to cops at stoplights....

M6 = 4.10s and practice, practice, practice.

A4 = Buy one with factory 3.23s. Add nitto DR's and a 3500+ stall. Kick butt in stoplight races with just a little practice. Avoid the cost and hassle of a gear swap and put the cash into other mods like headers.
