Picked it up used (still NIB though) forever ago. Never installed it because I bought the 9". Now I am having a "cleaning out the garage" sale.

Default hey

Hows it used but still new in the box lol? Is it made for the f -body, cause I think us with the 4th gen rears have a bracket for the brake or somthing on the cover.

I bought the one from summit for ~$129 ish. Get a used one or find a good deal somewhere. Don't waste your money on the SLP one for $99, it doesn't have the bearing support studs and won't do jack for your rear end. Find one that has the support studs if you are putting it on for more than just good looks.

Does the Summit have the bearing support studs?

Are you serious? It is new and never been installed. But I bought it from someone else (not a store) who never installed it. So it's been passed around, but again, never been installed.

I went with the T/A cover and stud kit that Thunder Racing sells. Yeah it's about 70 bucks moe than what has already been suggested but WELL worth it. I bought it as part of their gear, install kit, and cover package. Very reasonably priced for what you get. This cover also preloads the bearing caps so you hopefully can preserve that fragile 10 bolt for as long as possible.

I have a T/A girdle and that MAC Derek is selling is every bit as strong as mine and like Trent, I spent high $$ for mine and wish I had shopped a little more.
