its already been painted gloss black and as of tonight the 10-bolt is out and i have to get the 1350 yolk conversion pressed onto my stock DS and then the 12-bolt will go in. so far it has been pretty easy and i have only broken one part. not too bad for my first rear swap!!

ok so the rear is in...no problems with the install, but when i started the car it ran fine for about 15 seconds then there was a light metal scraping sound. not from the rear, but i think it is from the DS hitting the T/A, so i will paint the DS tomorrow to see where it is scraping and then go from there. also the rear is shifted a bit and i did not have the correct wrench to adjust the PHB so that may add to the problem. gonna check it out tomorrow. not to bad for my first rear rearend sawp. not too difficult, being the strange bolt in. my thanks to billingsley racing and strange for the service and the rear.

I was looking at the clearance between the DS and TA. Not much at all with the LPE DS and BMR TA. Mine shifted a bit as well and had to buy a APHR. Of course, mine was off with the stock rear. Good luck with the 12 Bolt and I am sure it will be fun with 4.10's

so the install is done. the rear is centered, no rubbing on the T/A and i drove it today for about 10 miles and it is quiet as can be. a slight whine at first but it is hardly noticible and is signifigantly better then the old 4.10's...im very happy with it now and cant wait to get it broken in and take it to the strip.....
