Welp. Apparently I have 2.73 gears stock, and if I plan on swapping gears, I have to purchase a "thick" gear set. Well, me, not knowing this, caused me to buy the standard 3.73's. So now I have to drive 35 miles to get the set I bought, send the back to Speed Inc. wait 2 days for the old gears to get back to them, pay them another $30 for the thicker gears, wait another two days for the new gears to get here, take them 35 miles out to the shop, and wait another day for the gears to get installed. So I prolly won't have the car back untill mid next week. With that all said, do I need to swap out the gears I have for the Richmond 3.73 -- 2 series carrier item number RMG4900071? and do you think Speed Inc. will have a problem swapping the gears out for me? Thanks.
