Default New to the site and i just got 4.10 gears

After reading alot of your threads about what gears are the best i finally broke down and went with 4.10s. Oh by the way its a 2000 ss M6. I just picked it up and drove about 10 miles. Slow driving in traffic just breaking them in but i guess what im trying to say is that i hope when i really get into it i will notice more of a difference. Right now im not too impressed.

Do you still have a 10 bolt rear? What are your mods? Do you have a good clutch or still factory? When you get on it you'll notice a difference or something is wrong. Probably won't get any traction though.

I dont dog it too often and if i do i never just drop the clutch so i hope the rearend holds up.

Give them a couple good heat cycles 25 - 50 of driving at one time so they get hot and cool all the way down. That will break them in.

I still havent gotten on it all the way but the car just launches at half throttle. Looking forward to the day i can hammer it down and see what it really has. Thanks for the replys
