My buddy has a spare 9in housing laying around , what does it take and approximately how much does it cost for all the parts i'm gonna need ?

I guess it really depends on if the rear end housing is made for an Fbody. If not its gonna cost a lot to make it fit and work.

You could try calling moser and see if they have a bracket kit for the f body. welding to cast is going to be a task and getting it all lined up correctly.
