Default broken posi and 273/a4 little help please.

I"m interested in what you think I should do... and how to...

Currently I have an LT1 and will soon be replacing it with a 427 Gen IV block.

What gears would you suggest for daily driving and also take to the track...

ok so after I pick gears what all do I need to replace? and how much would you estimate it costing?

3.42s in a 12 bolt if this is mostly for a daily driver with occasional track visits. 3.73s if you are more serious about the track. The more you go to the track, the more i would lean towards a 9".

What are you asking ? Are you asking about differences in the limited slip or positive traction differentials ?

If so, yes there are differences. Those differences are two complex to go into here, but there are lots of resources on the internet. Start at Tractech.com, they do a good job of explaining the different types of differentials.

actually i was referring to the traction control option... TCS. Although highly annoying when you forget it's on... it's saved me a couple of times... so it's something I would like to keep... atleast for now.. also it's pretty darn helpful in the snow.

Only one type of TCS rear - 4 channel. Can be done easily with a 9 in. or 12 bolt.
