Default 3 channel....

if i put a 3 channel rear in a car that was originally a 4 will i only loose my tcs or will i have abs issues also?

You will lose both, however you can convert the 3 ch to a 4 ch. Do a search, there was a recent post explaining this.

thanks for the help t. but i am still a little confused (but then again whats new my wife just said). i was under the impression that the abs was standard on all f-body rears and the tcs was an option. with that said, i would be able to install a non-tcs rear in a tcs equiped car and still have the use of abs.

ABS is standard, but they executed it differently depending on whether the car was optioned with TCS. It is completely different hardware and computers.

I know it doesn't make sense, but that's typical for the General.

TRex - if i buy a 3 channel Moser 12 bolt does that mean my ABS will work on my non-TCS M6 car?
