Default Need to know which spline?

How do I know what spline my axles are? I have a 94 z with an a4. I am looking to get 3.73 and while searching for a 3 series carrier I came across one for 26 spline and one for 28. Can someone give me a hand? Thanks

I don't think anyone ever made a 26 spline, seller is probably mistaken.

Yeah, that 26 spline one is not a 26 spline, its 28. Your rearend is 28, I guarantee it. BTW, stay away from the gov-locs. They are for trucks. The posi only kicks in once one tire is spinning significantly faster than the other. It will put you in the ditch around a corner. Get a Torsen, or with your power level, a 12 bolt with a truetrac.
