Default strange driveshaft

What are the possibilities of having a bad driveshaft?
heres the story...

Bought a strange 12 bolt rear and a strange 3" steel driveshaft
Developed a wicked vibration
Found the slpines INSIDE the yoke were twisted
strange replaced the spicer yoke with their own yoke
re-installed driveshaft...still had vibes
had driveshaft balanced at a reputable shop in front of my eyes.
re-installed driveshaft...still had vibes
replaced tailshaft bushing...no more vibes
short time later the vibes came back
re-installed original aluminum shaft and 10 bolt...no vibes
12bolt came back, so i re-installed steel shaft and 12 bolt...vibes are there

What your thoughts

why would you go with a steel driveshaft to begin with ?? usually everyone wants to upgrade to alluminum or carbon fiber.?? have you tried it with stock drive shaft with 12 bolt ??
