Default ASR/traction control question

i was wondering if ASR/traction control can be added to my camaro? im getting a hook up on a slightly used 12 bolt, but its equipped for traction control, i guess the 4 channel ABS and mine is a 3 channel? anyway, if they put it in as is, i'll lose my ABS which i dont want to happen. so the question is, is it possible to add ASR and would it even be worth it? i dont know much it would cost, etc.

thanks
will

Different computer, different wiring, etc.. all kinds of little things are different which would cost $$$ also how valuable is your time? If this your daily driver, hardly worth it.

If you have access to a wreak with a 4/channel setup maybe you could do it without breaking the bank. I've never been one to tell someone that they can't do something

You just need a exciter ring on your 12 bolt diff. If you know someone with a machine shop you can probably get the ring put on the 12 bolt diff, then just drill a hole in the housing and line up your 3 ch sensor with the ring.

Or, you can run it off of the driveshaft, someone on here posted up how to do that, do a search.
