Mac cover worth it?
Alright, my stock rear has a bad leak that got worse after a trip to the track this weekend. The rearend makes no noises, doesnt clunk, and I only see the track about 5 times a year, and only on nittos. Would a mac rear end cover be worth the money? Im going to stick with the 3.42's, the car only runs high 12's right now, but im gathering parts for a turbo setup.

Leak from the front, your looking at the seal.
Personally I wouldn't spend the money on a cover.

I put a MAC on my 10 bolt when I bought the car a year and a half ago. It was a very easy install, I didn't have to remove anything. Did it help? I really can't tell you, but my 10 bolt is still going strong after probably 6 trips to the track. However, I run street tires and run 2.05 60 foot times in my 6 speed. Now that I have a better clutch, I'm looking for a 12 bolt.
